~ Please scroll down to see new post. This Giveaway will remain at the top until Friday night ~

I love books and have been waiting to incorporate one with a giveaway so here it is.....
I have been reading this book and I am almost done it! I was on chapter 4 when I ordered two more one to give to family and the other to give away on my blog.
You may want to know something about this book first...
I was very challenged in many areas of my life after reading this (I have 4 more chapters till the end). I love books that help me along in my spiritual growth , motivate me, encourage me, and challenge me to take a good hard look into my heart!
Excerpt from the back of the book......"Have Christians become so preoccupied with the major sins of our society that we have lost sight of our need to deal with our own more subtle sins?"................"Jerry writes not from a height of spiritual accomplishment but from the trenches of his own battles with sin.".........."Jerry offers a message of hope in the profound mercy of the gospel and the transforming grace of God as the means to overcome our subtle sins."
I am hoping to figure out how to leave this at the top of my blog till Friday midnight. I will post the winner Saturday morning.
If you would like to enter the give away just leave me a comment about a book that has encouraged, motivated, and challenged you :)
Good Luck!

Hi Kerri,
I saw you were on the "walking team" with Mrs. H.....did you walk today? I really enjoyed looking through your blog - you have such beautiful pictures! I am new to blogging and the whole picture thing is where I struggle...could be I can't really take good pictures, much less figure out how to get them uploaded to the computer.
Your book sounds really good - please enter me in your drawing. Thanks for sharing...if I don't win, maybe I can find it at our bookstore.
Hope you find time for a good walk..
Jennifer

Kerri
Hi Kerri,
I couldn't decide on one book to share, so I am going to list three! My favorite book of encouragement in child training is "Train Up a Child" by Gwendolyn Webb (not to be confused with Training Up a Child by Michael Pearl - that one is good, but Webb's is better!). My favorite homeschooling book is "Educating the Whole Hearted Child" by Clay and Sally Clarkson. And my favorite book about femininity and being a wife is "Fascinating Womanhood" - author is a Mormon (I'm not) and I don't agree with everything in the book, but overall it is a wonderful guide to understanding how to be the wife your husband needs. Thanks for hosting the giveaway! :-)
Kerri!!!!! I had no idea you were up and blogging again. I happened to peek in and was surprised. Do you still have dial-up?
Anyway, I'd love to be entered into the drawing and look forward to reading your blog.
Love,
Terri
Ooops, I forgot to give the name of a book that has encouraged me. I'd have to say that it was, The Grand Weaver by Ravi Zacharias.
