Change

Life here at 4 Arrows is changing......No, we aren't getting a bull! Yet ;)

It's my children.........

One is off in Texas rappelling off cliffs!

Hiking 24 hours straight

Sliding across ropes that are stretched across rivers!

and the list goes on and on.....

The other child #2 has his mind set on doing the same thing!

Then there is child #3....................
Guess what's on his mind???????

Ya, he's just thinking of that big ol' boy in the picture above! Why is it that boy's don't want to sit and knit by the fire?

Just kidding!!! I am glad my boy's aren't wimpy! They're rough and tough and don't shy away from fear!

These are a few of my favorite things :)

I never buy back issues of a magazine! Ever!

But these!!........ O my, they are wonderful!

My family is anxious to reap the benefits of putting these in my hands!

I have to modify my walking/running plan.......a little........

Ok, a lot!

Buy it!!!!!! You won't be sorry!

I ordered this online (and didn't tell my husband :o ) He came home yesterday with the cookbook out of the package and very excited!!! Rave reviews is what he gave it, and I didn't even have a chance to look at the cover or read it yet!!!

Just buy the cookbook!!!!! You won't be sorry!

Welcome

It's been awhile since my last post and ......whew!!! I have a lot of catching up to do.........Here goes..........

Dean.......Has joined the ALERT Academy in Big Sandy, TX, and yes, I miss him terribly!! He is currently at this very hour embarking on a 50 mile, 24 hour hike in Oklahoma! I pray for his safety and for the other men too. We are looking forward to seeing him graduate out of basic training November 13th!

Timothy........is currently memorizing the entire book of 1Peter which is a requirement for entering basic training at ALERT. He is going to M-Team next August, and then into basic the fall of 2011! Why do all my boys want to leave?????? Just kidding, I'm am so proud of all of them. Tim has been working hard at school, and picking up the slack around here since his brother is gone. He is still training Penne, his bird dog, and has harvested a bear and a couple of partridge this hunting season. He also got his drivers permit, and I am so thankful I have a driver again to drive me around!!

David..............I mean "Cowboy Dave" is still working on his horsemanship skills and roping everything in sight!!!! He is in the market for a "free lease forever" quarter horse. His dream come true! David harvested a turkey, a bear, a moose, and is going for the Royal Crown, hopefully harvesting a deer this season.

Acelia.........she is now the proud owner of a Baskir Curly horse named Honey. Appropriately named, because she is sooooo sweet. We are hoping to bring her home in the spring. Right now we are boarding her at the riding stable where Acelia and David take lessons. She is going to be in her third show this weekend. Her favorite thing to do with Honey is jumping! Acelia and her friend took first place at a pair jumping event!

Me..........well I have been running the kids around doing all of what I just posted. We have a new animal on the farm....our beloved barn cat "Punk". I never thought we would own a cat, but we do! We love him! I am still taking lots of photos, but not enough to keep me satisfied :) I'm trying to dig a little deeper into photoshop also, which is proving to be a difficult task......luckily they make a photoshop for dummies ;)
