Sunset.............Sunrise

I thought I would post the sunset and sunrise pictures I took the night before last and yesterday morning. I snapped this off my front porch. This is the time of year the sun starts to set so we can see it over our mountains. It's beautiful. Of course, my camera I ruined, I think when I took pictures of our maple syrup making experience. I am hoping I get a new one for Christmas. :)

This is the wee hours of the morning. I am currently trying to get up and about by 5:30am. Don't ask how that is going! On this morning I was up. Just pretend the blue streak going across this picture doesn't exist.

Ok, here is the picture I've been waiting for . I have wanted to post a picture of the moose in my backyard. I stepped onto the porch snapped the photo and it turned out black!!! Grrrr!! So with a little help from my photo editing program....here it is. (I'ts not the greatest picture, but it's the only one I have) If you look really close you can see the black blob just stepping onto the green food plot. I went out on the porch and there he was, a huge bull moose. His antlers were so bright compared to the rest of his body, because he has been polishing them. He was there again this morning at 3:00am calling to a female moose. Moose hunting starts here next week, (I think) . I was fortunate enough to get a moose permit last year and Dean was able to shoot his first moose.

Moose is gone, and here comes the sun. It's going to be a beautiful day.


The weather here has been a little chilly. In the 50's and 60's. The mornings are very chilly high 30's and low 40's!! I started a fire in the fireplace this morning. Brrrrr!!
