This was taken March 7th! Not a big improvement here! :o I think the verse of the day needs to be Philippians 4:11 " Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, there with to be content." :)
So out I went yesterday to the store and purchased Lilac Blossoms and Midnight Jasmine candles for today. I wasn't about to let the weather get me down!!
I also have a spring time recipe to share with you. It comes from my dear friend Jackie. She loves to bake, and try out new recipes.
Green Apple Dip
2 pkg. of cream cheese
1 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp. of vanilla extract
container of party peanuts
Put all ingredients into a bowl..........................................
.....................................and mix till really smooth
Slice ALOT of green apples and sprinkle the top of dip with peanuts. Omit them if you don't like them and just eat it plain. Make sure you refresh the peanuts when you see they have all diappeared :) Thanks for sharing Jackie :)
Try not to think of the calories :o I'm lighting my candles and eating my dip, and I'm not looking out my windows!!!!!!!!
Have a great first day of spring!!!

Kerri, Visit my sight if you want to see real signs of Spring..It might just put you in the mood.
I enjoyed the pictures of Winter. I was born in Maine so I know about those New England Winters.
The Apple dip looks luscious! I love apple dip with a sour apple like Granny Smiths!
I imagine the candles smell really good and would make you think of warm, sunny, spring days.
Maybe, You'll thaw out soon!
those green apples look so yummy. And your candle scent choices?---super!!! But the snow? No....you can keep it up there. I like my humid warm southern USA. LOL
I did a Friday Show N Tell this week [I know it's been canceled, but I wanted to show off a prize I won and sent to me by one of our Show N Tell players ---it's Easter themed!! Drop by if you can? I'd love to have you visit. And have a great holiday weekend]
