Welcome to David's room!! He enjoys flying model airplanes and loves anything to do with airplanes. He is also very patriotic. Notice the checker table? My dad built that in high school. My sister-in-law gave it to me when we moved in. It is very dear to us because my dad passed away in '98. I used to play checkers on this as a child and now my children play chess and checkers on it.
David loves this mural! (Of course) Our pastor painted the background scene, then cut out the huge airplane and painted it , and then attached it to the wall! The wings of the airplane from tip to tip is 71/2 ft. !! I love the three dimensional effect!
I found this ceiling fan at Lows and thought it would be perfect for David's room! It has that aviation look to it!
Tomorrow is Timothy's turn to show his room off!
